Class Lessons

Direct-to-Parallel

Ski Granby Ranch's Ski & Ride School enables students of all ability levels to improve their skiing with a direct-to-parallel approach that pairs centered body positioning and specific movements with shaped skis.

Progression Terrain Parks for Snowboarders

Granby Ranch Ride School incorporates six progression terrain parks as the perfect landscape for connecting turns and learning jumps.

Private Lessons

Get private instruction tailored for your learning style and ability. Ski Granby Ranch's friendly instructors make the learning process easy and will help you deepen your love of the sport. Progress from green to blue, or from blue to black at your own pace. Snowboarders will use accessible terrain to learn skills from carving to terrain park riding.

Meal Vouchers

Ski Granby Ranch offers discounted group/school meal vouchers at the time of registration. Offerings are $10 hot lunches, which is a choice of a cheeseburger and fries, hot dog and fries, or two slices of pizza. All lunches include a fountain drink. We will need a final count of the meal vouchers three days prior to arrival.  Vouchers are highly recommended for large groups to facilitate a speedy path through the cashier line.

Helpful Planning Tips

  • Remind everyone in your group of your departure time and set meeting times and places for everyone to check in throughout the day.
  • Tables in the Dining Hall on the second floor may not be reserved for the day, in order to allow other dining guests to enjoy lunch seating.
  • Encourage lessons! Keep track of lessons by category: ski or snowboard.
  • Ski Granby Ranch encourages all guests to wear non-cotton socks, base layers, waterproof outer layers, sunscreen, neck gators and hats.
  • Please remember to wear sunscreen and drink lots of water.

Altitude Sickness

We recommend guests drink a lot of water in the days before the ski trip, remain hydrated during their stay in Colorado, pace yourself and get plenty of rest to avoid symptoms of altitude sickness.
