Granby Ranch Confirms the Opening of Additional Terrain and the Quick Draw Chairlift

Top-to-bottom skiing and riding at Granby Ranch now available via the Quick Draw Chairlift and the Easy Money ski trail.

Granby, Colorado – December 17, 2020
With enhancements to the Quick Draw Chairlift finished and the requisite Colorado Passenger Tramway Safety Board testing complete and licenses secured, Quick Draw will open to the public today at 9:00am.

The top-to-bottom terrain served by the Quick Draw Chairlift includes Easy Money, where Granby Ranch’s snowmaking crew has been hard at work for the past 25 days.

“The abundance of natural snow from the past three winter storms coupled with the terrific results from our snowmaking efforts means that skiers and riders will have outstanding conditions on Easy Money.” said Jace Wirth, General Manager of Granby Ranch. “We are seeing mid-winter conditions right now, in mid-December here at Granby Ranch,” said Wirth.

The resort will be providing ongoing updates on conditions, operations and weather forecasts at and via the Granby Ranch Resort App, available on the Apple App Store and Google Play.

Granby Ranch is located 90 miles west of Denver and three miles away from the town of Granby, Colorado. Granby Ranch features nearly 1,000 feet of vertical and nearly 900 acres of skiable terrain for all ability levels. The ski resort features two mountains, and 41 snowy trails can be accessed via the resort’s five chairlifts. The East Mountain is perfect for beginners and intermediates and is accessed by two high speed quad chairlifts. Granby Ranch’s West Mountain appeals to the advanced skier or snowboarder where all adventures start on the Conquest chairlift. In September of 2020, Granby Ranch came under new ownership and management with The Ridgeline Executive Group having been retained for oversight and management of all resort operations.
