From an acclaimed suite of lift-accessed downhill trails to beautiful ridgeline cross-country rides, our goal is to curate riding experiences for all types of mountain bikers, from new-to-old and beginner-to-advanced.

What's new this year?

Granby Ranch is a little different than other mountain resorts. Consisting of trails on primarily private land, all guests riding either cross country trails or our lift-accessed downhill network must possess a valid pass or ticket product. Guests must also sign a waiver.

Lift-serviced access to our downhill trails PLUS bike and hike access to our whole suite of XC trails in the South Valley, available in a season-long pass or a single day lift ticket. Includes access to entire mountain and trails on Granby Ranch property. New for Summer ’21 will be the deployment of trail ambassadors to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all customers and to verify that all using the trails have a valid pass or ticket.

Downhill + XC Rentals

Need a stallion? We carry a premier line of Intense downhill bikes and Transition 27.5s for our singletrack trails. (We get you setup with gear including helmets and pads, too.) Stop by our bike shop in the Base Lodge for the full download. Given inventory shortages in the bike industry, our available stock is limited and only available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Downhill? Enduro? Season or Day Pass? We've got it all. Just remember: All users must sign a waiver. Base Lodge Services & Quick Draw Express Open Thursday to Sunday, 10AM to 5PM. Note: Rim brakes are not permitted on downhill trails.

Can I use my season pass for hiking?

Yes. Your season pass is valid for use at our entire network.

Are there any blackout dates?

No. Our season pass holders enjoy unlimited riding throughout the summer season.

What is your refund policy?

Season passes are non-refundable and non-transferrable under any circumstances including, but not limited to, unplanned closures, weather, job loss, mechanical or electrical issues, personal injury, or natural disasters.

When can I reserve my pass online?

Due to ownership transition and resultant switchover of systems, prebooking online will be available June 1st. Please go to the ticket window at the Base Lodge to purchase your pass in the interim.

When/how will I receive my 2021-22 season pass?

Please stop by the ticket window on your first visit to Granby Ranch.

I am a Granby Ranch FBM homeowner. Do I need to purchase a pass?

No. Your homeowner pass gives you full access to the entire property.

I am active duty military. Do I get a deal on a pass?

Yes. On your next visit to to Granby Ranch, stop by our ticket window for a free Patriot Pass, which gives you all mountain (including lift) access. We'll just need to grab a picture for the pass and a signed waiver! Thank you for your service!

Can I use my ticket for sightseeing?

The all mountain ticket gives you lift accessed sightseeing. Any of our ticket products allow you to check out all of our XC and hiking trails during your stay!

Do I need to sign a waiver for a ticket product?

Yes. Please stop by our ticket window to complete a waiver or check your reservation confirmation email. It will have a link to our digital waiver system.

Do I get a helmet and pads with a bike rental?

Yes. For both the Bike Only and Bike + Tix package, helmet, arm and knee pads are included.

Can I prebook a bike?

Not at this time. Bike rentals to start the summer will only be available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Do you have helmets or chest protectors to rent a la carte?

Yes, although our rental inventory is limited and available only a first-come, first-serve basis. We carry helmets, arm and knee pads, and chest protectors.

Is there anything new or different about the mountain?

Yes. The ski resort is now under new ownership and management. notably, for mountain bikers and hikers, all guests aiming to check out our premier cross country trails or our lift-accessed downhill network must possess a valid pass or ticket product. Guests must also sign a waiver.

When should I plan to visit? Will it be busy?

Our lift-serviced terrain and base amenities, including restaurants and bike retail services, will be open Thursday to Sunday throughout Summer ’21. Typically, Saturdays, Memorial Day Weekend, and July 4th Weekend are our peak periods. If you’d like to avoid the crowds, stop by during the week.

Do I need a pass or ticket to ride cross country trails?

Yes. Guests must also have a waiver on file.

I want to use the Fraser to Granby trail. Do I need a pass or a signed waiver?

No. Users of the Fraser to Granby do NOT need to purchase a product or sign a waiver.

Can I use rim brakes on the downhill bike park trails?

No. Due to speeds and braking power, only disc brake-equipped bikes are permitted on the downhill trails. You may still ride the lift with your rim brake bike to access our cross-country trails.
