Ski & Snowboard Rentals
Easy, convenient, quality rentals by the base of Granby Ranch Resort.
How it works
- Make your reservation online
- Pick up your RFID media card at the ticket office (this card stores information on your lift tickets and rentals all in one place)
- Walk over to the rental department with your RFID and we’ll get you all set up
- Add on extra days or Easy Money Resort Credit anytime, and it will be linked to your RFID card
Know before you go
- Rent online at least 48 hours in advance
- Walk-ins are possible, but not guaranteed
- Ski rental packages include Skis, Boots, Poles, Helmet. Snowboard Rentals include Snowboard, Boots, Helmet
- Upon booking your rental you will need to enter your height, weight, shoe size, date of birth for all skiers in your party
- Know your skier type: 1 (novice), 2 (intermediate), 3 (advanced)
- If you have a Lesson, proceed to the Ski & Ride School to pick up your rentals.

Adult Rentals
Full Package:

Specifically designed to accelerate learning to get you out on the snow fast. The shape of these skis helps you and your family progress!
Adult ski sizes range from 130 to 180cm.
Junior Rentals
Full Package:
-Peak $77 per day
-Non-peak $55 per day
HEAD’s innovative technology means the Supershape Team Easy JRS is softer flexing, so kids spend less energy on turning and more on fun.
Tyke Rentals
Full Package:
-Peak $47 per day
–Non-peak $25 per day
Support your tiny tykes with their first days on snow and can help create lifelong contributors to the sport!

For picking up rentals without lessons, please check in at Tickets starting the day of your rental reservation.
If you have booked your rentals online ahead of time, you have the opportunity to pick up your gear the afternoon prior. Please keep in mind that this service may not be readily available during our peak dates.
Pickup available day before your scheduled rental day between 1:30-3:30pm, based on availability. Not available during peak time and night ski nights.

Outside alcohol is expressly prohibited at Granby Ranch.
Ski bikes with restraint devices (leash) are permitted on the Quick Draw Express. Presently, we are studying the feasibility of ski bikes on our other lifts. Please have patience as we responsibly navigate this exciting and quickly growing sport!
Drones are prohibited on property.
Skiing
Level 1: This is your first time skiing
Level 2: You have skied before, you know how to stop using a wedge (snowplow, pizza, etc) but you’re still learning the basics.
Level 3: You can stop in a wedge, and are learning how to make turns. You are comfortable riding the lift.
Level 4: You are comfortable making turns on green trails
Snowboarding
Level 1: This is your first time snowboarding
Level 2: You have a basic understanding of your edges,and know how to stop. You’re ready to learn how to turn!
Level 3: You know how to make turns, but are still having some trouble with it. You are comfortable riding the lift.
Level 4: You are comfortable making turns on green trails.
If you’re not sure, that’s okay! We will make sure everyone goes to the level that fits them best based on experience, skill levels, and personal goals.
We strongly advise that you plan ahead for your visit.
Typically, Saturdays, the week of Christmas, President’s Day weekend and Spring Break (mid-March) are our busiest periods. If you’d like to avoid the crowds, stop by during the week or on weekends that do not fall on holidays.

Helmets are strongly encouraged for participants of any mountain activity. We require helmets for all ski and ride school lessons as well as all users in the Downhill Bike Park.
We are grateful for your service, and to honor you and all the men and women in our armed forces we are proud offer our Patriot Pass — a complimentary winter season pass for active-duty military personnel. For retired military and veterans, we offer 20% off of day lift tickets.
Stop by our ticket window on your next visit, show a valid military ID or your valid VA ID, and we’ll get you set on the slopes!
Yes, Granby Ranch offers night skiing. Check our calendar for the scheduled night ski nights!
Please note: During night ski the only beginner skiing is serviced by the Milestone Lift. All terrain serviced by the Quick Draw Express is intermediate terrain only.
Yes. We have two separate, free parking areas, all within walking distance of the slopes. A third overflow lot on busy days is also available, featuring shuttle service.
No tubing services are offered at this time. Sledding and tubing are strictly prohibited within ski area boundaries. Please note all posted signs regarding sledding restrictions on ski area boundary markers.
We highly recommend you pre-book. Reservations can be made in advance for equipment rental. During peak dates equipment will be limited. Certain sizes may be unavailable for walk up customers.
Yes. Granby Ranch is the perfect mountain to bring beginners/first timers, as well as intermediate and advanced skiers who’d like to perfect their skills.
Please note: During night ski the only beginner skiing is serviced by the Milestone Lift. All terrain serviced by the Quick Draw Express is intermediate terrain only.
Yes! We added the Outpost Food Truck to the top of East Mountain, new skiable terrain on West Mountain, & East Mountain Retreat Yurt Rental.
