Granby Ranch is home to an incredible network of Cross-Country Mountain Biking Trails. Featuring a combination of easy trails, intermediate trails and expert level trails, in both single and double track, there’s no better place to spend the day exploring on two wheels. Plan ahead, sign our liability waiver and check out our downhill mountain biking trail map. Trail accessible XC mountain biking is available 7 days a week!

Why pedal your bike all the way to the top of the mountain? Downhill mountain biking at Granby Ranch is a lift accessible, day-use mountain bike park that offers the best views and landscapes in Northern Colorado. Plan ahead, sign our liability waiver before you arrive.

Mountain Bike Rentals

Our fleet of mountain bike rentals
includes a variety of Downhill, Enduro and Fully Rigid traditional bicycles for adults and youth. We also carry a fleet of Full-Suspension and Hard-Tail E-Bikes.

The Granby Ranch mountain bike rental shop also offers full face and half shell helmets as well as knee pads, elbow pads and body armor. Our bike rentals are first come, first served, and can be purchased at the rental shop.

Can I use my ticket for sightseeing?

The all mountain ticket gives you lift accessed sightseeing. Any of our ticket products allow you to check out all of our XC and hiking trails during your stay!

Do I need to sign a waiver for a ticket product?

Yes. Please stop by our ticket window to complete a waiver or check your reservation confirmation email. It will have a link to our digital waiver system.

What is your refund policy?

Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferrable under any circumstances including, but not limited to, unplanned closures, weather, job loss, mechanical or electrical issues, personal injury, or natural disasters.

When can I purchase my pass or ticket online?

Due to ownership transition and resultant switchover of systems, prebooking online will be available June 1st. Please go to the ticket window at the Base Lodge to purchase your pass in the interim.

Do I get a helmet and pads with a bike rental?

Yes. For both the Bike Only and Bike + Tix package, helmet, arm and knee pads are included.

Can I prebook a bike?

Not at this time. Bike rentals to start the summer will only be available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Do you have helmets or chest protectors to rent a la carte?

Yes, although our rental inventory is limited and available only a first-come, first-serve basis. We carry helmets, arm and knee pads, and chest protectors.

Are summer season passes available?

Summer season passes are available now. Purchase your summer season pass.

Is there anything new or different about the mountain?

For mountain bikers and hikers, all guests aiming to use our cross-country trails or our lift-accessed downhill network must possess a valid pass or ticket product. Guests must also sign a waiver. Plan ahead, sign our liability waiver before you arrive.

When should I plan to visit? Will it be busy?

Our lift-serviced terrain and base amenities, including restaurants and bike retail services, will be open throughout Summer ’23. Typically, Saturdays, Memorial Day Weekend, and July 4th Weekend are our peak periods.

Do I need a pass or ticket to ride cross country trails?

Yes. Guests must also have a waiver on file. Plan ahead, sign our liability waiver before you arrive.

I want to use the Fraser to Granby trail. Do I need a pass or a signed waiver?

No. Users of the Fraser to Granby do NOT need to purchase a product or sign a waiver.

Can I use rim brakes on the downhill bike park trails?

No. Due to speeds and braking power, only disc brake-equipped bikes are permitted on the downhill trails. You may still ride the lift with your rim brake bike to access our cross-country trails.
