Country Music Legend Joe Nichols to Perform in the HONOR THE WARRIORS Concert at Granby Ranch


On April 1, 2022, the special performance will be honoring the veterans participating in the 2022 Military to the Mountains at Granby Ranch program and will feature a special appearance by retired US Navy SEAL Commander Rorke Denver, star of the hit movie “Act of Valor”.

The concert is free to all attendees and will serve as a fundraiser for the Military to the Mountains at Granby Ranch Program, as managed by The High Fives Foundation, a 501(c)3 organization.

Granby Ranch, Colorado, February 28, 2022 — Granby Ranch announced that the resort will be hosting a free concert featuring award winning country music singer, Joe Nichols on Friday, April 1, 2022.  The HONOR THE WARRIORS CONCERT is being staged in conjunction with the resort hosting the 2022 Military to the Mountains at Granby Ranch program.  The event will be an opportunity for the community to meet and honor those veteran warfighters who are participating in the acclaimed program as developed by the High Fives Foundation and Ridgeline Executive Group founder, Andy Wirth over seven years ago.  The event will also feature a special guest, US Navy SEAL Commander Rorke Denver who has led special forces missions in the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America, starred in the hit film, Act of Valor and is the author of the award-winning books, “Damn Few: Making the Modern SEAL Warrior” and “Worth Dying For: A Navy SEALs Call to a Nation.

I’m truly honored to be performing for the warriors who are participating in the Military to the Mountains program here at Granby Ranch…above all, I’m deeply appreciative of their service and sacrifice to our great nation.” said Joe Nichols. Nichols went on to say, “My family and I have also developed a special place in our hearts for Granby Ranch, so it was a quick yessir when my friend Andy Wirth asked if I would perform for the veterans in this year’s Military to the Mountains program.”  Nichols is a multi-platinum recording artist, three-time Grammy nominee, Academy of Country Music “Top New Male Vocalist” and in has been honored with the Academy of Country Music’s “Top New Male Male Vocalist” award.

In addition to his notable success as a performer, Nichols has done much for the veterans community in his career, including the song and associated video, The Shape I’m In” which features Marcus Lutrell, the US Navy SEAL whose story was capture in the movie “Lone Survivor”.  Nichols will also be joined on stage by acclaimed guitarist and producer, Brent Rowan, who resides in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. 

The Military to the Mountains program was developed by Ridgeline Executive Group Founder, Andy Wirth, High Fives Foundation Executive Director Roy Tuscany and Dave Vobora, Adaptive Training Center (ATF). The program includes a specially developed nine-week program at ATF and is followed by a full week of on-snow activity, all of which is developed to provide the warfighters, many of whom have suffered substantial life-altering, combat related injuries, a sense of team, community, and support. The program has achieved national acclaim and was featured on ESPN by way of a special segment produced by Kenny Mayne.

The HONOR THE WARRIORS CONCERT will be staged at the base of Granby Ranch Ski Resort and will start at 6:30pm on Friday, April 1, 2022.  The event will be livestreamed and will be a fundraiser for the Military to the Mountains at Granby Ranch program with all donations will going directly to High Fives, a 501(c)3 non-profit organizationIn support of the fundraising effort, event organizers are developing a special “text to donate” program in conjunction with the event.  Organizers are also actively seeking event sponsors for the HONOR THE WARRIORS CONCERT.  If interested in supporting and/or sponsoring the event, contact Andy Wirth at awirth@ridgelineexecgroup.com or 406-595-7407.
