And that’s not all! If you’re not interested in a full season pass, we offer additional programing on Fridays throughout the winter.
Granby Ranch is excited to provide specially discounted season passes for the 2023/24 winter season to all students enrolled in the East and West Grand School Districts, parents or legal guardians of enrolled students, all full and part time teachers and all administrative staff working within the East and West Grand School Districts. Special pricing and restrictions apply.
To be eligible, all students and parents/legal guardians must register with the school prior to purchasing your pass.
*Homeschooled students and parents living in Grand County are eligible for this program, with valid documentation.
Granby Ranch will provide complimentary lift tickets, ski/snowboard rentals and learn-to-ski (Level 1) ski/ride instruction on specified Fridays throughout the 2023/24 season. This program is available to all students enrolled in the East and West Grand School Districts, all full and part-time teachers and all administrative staff working within the East and West Grand School Districts.
Lift access is free, without any restrictions every Friday 12/15/2023 – 3/29/24. There will be a fee of $5.00 for the cost of the ticket/media issued on the first Friday. This ticket/media is re-usable and will be active each Friday of the 2023-24 Winter Season. Each ticket/media issued will cost $5.00, BE SURE TO KEEP your first one, it’s good all season, and future seasons.
The GSSP ticket must be picked up at the ticket window and a 2023-24 Student/Employee ID must be presented at time of pick up (including $5.00 pass fee).The GSSP ticket is non-refundable and non-transferable.
The complimentary ski & snowboard rentals require a signed release of liability form by a parent or legal guardian provided on-site.

Pick Up Times for Ski/Snowboard Packages: FRIDAYS AFTER 10:00am
The complimentary ski and snowboard lessons take place on non-holiday Fridays from 1:00-3:30 pm. Parents or legal guardians must accompany their children for check-in and pick-up and remain on-site during the entire lesson.
Each student can receive up to a maximum of 3 lessons during this season. These students can only be first-timers or beginner skiers.
This program is first come first served. You can sign up in person beginning at 10 am each Friday outside of blackout dates.
There will be a max of 15 students per session.
Lift passes are required to participate in lessons. There will be a fee of $5.00 for the cost of the pass/media. This pass is re-usable each year; if lost additional passes are $5.00.

Yes! Skiers and riders this year will notice new improvements at the Slopeside Dining Hall, a new 400′ Sunkid covered carpet lift and expanded beginner terrain.
Yes. Granby Ranch is the perfect mountain to bring beginners/first timers, as well as intermediate and advanced skiers who’d like to perfect their skills.
Yes. There are many short-term rental units and houses available at or near the mountain from major providers.
Not at this time.
Yes. We have two separate, free parking areas, all within walking distance of the slopes. A third overflow lot on busy days is also available, featuring shuttle service.

No. However, we require helmets for all ski and ride school lessons.

Ski bikes with restraint devices or that are designed to fall over are permitted on the Quick Draw Express. Presently, we are studying the feasibility of ski bikes on our other lifts. Please have patience as we responsibly navigate this exciting and quickly growing sport!
