Dogs


Service animals specifically trained to aid people with disabilities are welcome in our base area and buildings.
Winter Dog Policy
  • No dogs or service animals ride any aerial lift(s).
  • Dogs are not allowed on snow in the base area or on trails during operating hours.
  • Dogs are not allowed in buildings.
  • All Dogs must be leashed when on the property. (See exceptions below)
  • **Nordic Skiers and Snowshoers: When using Upper Mtn. & Golf Nordic Trails for XC skiing or Snowshoeing, dogs are allowed off leash but must be under voice control and within sight at all times. No dogs are allowed on the Mountain (Alpine Area & Base Area) during operating hours.
  • **Uphill Skiers: When using uphill routes (whether skinning up or skiing down) dogs are allowed off leash but must be under voice control and within sight at all times.
  • Please clean up after your dog and dispose of pet waste properly. Owners of dogs deemed aggressive problematic may be asked to leave.
Summer Dog Policy
  • It is GR Operations Policy to allow dogs that are on leashes and under the owner’s control. The dog must be leashed and well behaved. The animal can descend the mountain via the Hiking trails or open slopes. Dogs may not be on any mountain bike trails.
  • Dogs must be under control at all times. No dogs are allowed on the mountain during operating hours. Clean up after your dog.

If Pet owners do not comply with current policies, their privileges to have dogs on GR property will be revoked.
