GRAND COUNTY SCHOOLS

Granby Ranch is excited to provide specially discounted season passes for the 2023/24 winter season to all students enrolled in the East and West Grand School Districts, parents or legal guardians of enrolled students, all full and part time teachers and all administrative staff working within the East and West Grand School Districts. Special pricing and restrictions apply.

Is there anything new or different about the mountain?

Yes! Skiers and riders this year will notice new improvements at the Slopeside Dining Hall, a new 400′ Sunkid covered carpet lift and expanded beginner terrain.

Is Granby Ranch good for beginner/first timer skiers and riders?

Yes. Granby Ranch is the perfect mountain to bring beginners/first timers, as well as intermediate and advanced skiers who’d like to perfect their skills.

Is lodging available in the area? Are there any ski in/ski out condos available?

Yes. There are many short-term rental units and houses available at or near the mountain from major providers.

Do you offer snowtubing?

Not at this time.

Is parking free at Granby Ranch?

Yes. We have two separate, free parking areas, all within walking distance of the slopes. A third overflow lot on busy days is also available, featuring shuttle service.

Does Granby Ranch offer night skiing?

Yes, the night ski schedule for the 23/24 Winter season will be held on:
12/23/23, 12/22/23, 12/29/23, 12/30/23, 12/31/23, 1/12/24, 1/13/24, 1/26/24, 1/27/24, 2/16/24, 2/17/24, 3/15/24, 3/16/24

Is wearing a helmet required at Granby Ranch?

No. However, we require helmets for all ski and ride school lessons.

Am I allowed to fly my drone at Granby Ranch?

Drones are prohibited on property.

Can I bring my dog?

Our dog policy can be found here.

Can I bring my ski bike?

Ski bikes with restraint devices or that are designed to fall over are permitted on the Quick Draw Express. Presently, we are studying the feasibility of ski bikes on our other lifts. Please have patience as we responsibly navigate this exciting and quickly growing sport!

Do I need a pass or ticket to uphill, Nordic ski or snowshoe on property?
